Interactive ECG atlas

Read every beat.

Most ECG resources hand you a flat image and a wall of text. Sinusly shows you the living trace — and exactly why each pattern appears in those leads. Watch the monitor, click a lead, light up the heart.

* Published competency studies report wide ECG-interpretation error rates — often around half — across students, nurses, and residents.

Drag the heart, click a lead — then switch the rhythm and watch the trace change.

Built for everyone who has to read a strip

The same gap shows up everywhere: the waveform feels abstract and disconnected from the patient. Sinusly closes it for each path.

The 12-lead explorer

Click any lead. See its viewing angle, the wall of myocardium it looks at, the artery that feeds that wall, and the leads that show reciprocal change. This is the part every other resource skips.

Tip: use Tab then Enter to move between leads, or tap a lead label.

A loop that actually builds skill

Reading about ECGs doesn't make you fluent — retrieval and spacing do. Sinusly is built around the evidence.

  1. 1

    See the pattern

Every condition renders as a real animated tracing on a calibrated grid — not a stock photo. You learn what it actually looks like in motion.

  2. 2

    Map it to anatomy

One click lights up the responsible leads, the myocardial wall, and the culprit artery — so the squiggle finally has a place in the body.

  3. 3

    Practice with recall

Commit a structured read and a confidence level, then get instant, explained feedback. Active recall beats passive review every time.

  4. 4

    Track mastery

Streaks and a per-category competency map show what you've mastered and what to revisit before it fades.

Built to be trusted

Accuracy you can cite

A teaching tool is only as good as it is correct. Every number on Sinusly is checked, then checked again.

  • Cross-checked sources

Every criterion, interval, and threshold is verified against the LITFL ECG Library and standard cardiology references.

  • Independently reviewed

Numbers, scoring rules, and lead-to-territory mappings are triple-checked before they ship.

  • Honest by design

Tracings are clearly labelled as synthesized for teaching — educational use only, never for diagnosis.

The condition library

Every entry shows a real synthesized strip, its leads, and the high-yield teaching points. The full interactive engine and the foundations are free.

Practice — read it, commit, get feedback

No multiple-guess. You decide, you rate your confidence, then you find out — with the teaching point that makes it stick.

Pricing that respects a student budget

The interactive engine and the foundations are free forever. Upgrade only when you want the pathology library, exam mode, and mastery tracking.

What early users say

Illustrative testimonials for this preview — not real endorsements.

“The lead-to-artery map finally made inferior vs anterior click. I stopped memorizing and started understanding.”

— ED nurse, telemetry float

“Switching the monitor between AFib and flutter side by side did more for me than a semester of slides.”

— 2nd-year nursing student

“Commit-then-reveal with a confidence rating is exactly how I want to drill before boards.”

— EM resident, PGY-2

Questions

Is Sinusly a diagnostic tool?

No. Sinusly is an educational tool. The tracings are synthesized for teaching and the content is for learning ECG interpretation — never for diagnosing or treating a real patient. Always correlate clinically and follow your institution's protocols.

Are the ECG tracings real?

They're faithfully synthesized from the defining parameters of each rhythm and condition (rate, intervals, ST shift, morphology), so they show the teaching-perfect form. That makes them clean, consistent, and labelable — ideal for learning the pattern before you meet the messy real thing.

Who is it for?

Nursing students and working RNs, paramedics and EMTs, medical students, residents, PAs and NPs — anyone who has to look at a strip and decide what it means. The free tier is genuinely useful on its own.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Sinusly runs entirely in your browser, works on your phone, and loads fast — typically about a second on a good connection. Nothing to download.

How accurate is the content?

Accuracy is the whole point of a teaching tool. Every criterion, interval, and lead-to-territory mapping is checked against authoritative references. If you ever spot something off, tell us and we'll fix it fast.
